NEP AI Education Grant Program in Collaboration with IIT-Delhi

The Campus Consortium Foundation (CCF) invites universities and higher education institutions across India to apply for the NEP Education & AI Grant Initiative, supporting institutions exploring the introduction of Artificial Intelligence education aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Through this initiative, institutions can explore collaborative models that enable students to pursue an AI Minor Degree developed by IIT Delhi, alongside their primary academic programs.

What is NEP 2020?

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is India’s national framework for transforming education through multidisciplinary learning, technology integration, research innovation, and future-ready skills development.

The policy encourages universities to introduce interdisciplinary programs and emerging technology education, including Artificial Intelligence, to prepare students for the evolving digital economy.

IIT Delhi AI Minor Degree Initiative

As part of this initiative, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has developed a Minor Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies aligned with NEP 2020.

This framework enables universities to explore offering an AI-focused minor alongside existing degree programs, helping students build capabilities in:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Data and digital technologies
• Applied problem solving
• Emerging technology innovation
