EDUCATION PRO BONO TELECOMMUNICATIONS
ASSESSMENT AND REPORT APPLICATION

What

Like buildings on campus, students, faculty and staff use an institution’s communication resources in a variety of ways for teaching, learning and services. From telephone service to Internet access, on campus or online, telecommunications infrastructure is often created in portions over time resulting in varying usability, useful life, efficiency, and capability to meet the needs of education missions and operations.

Why

Campuses rely on expensive essential communication systems but evaluating, upgrading, or changing systems to improve service and efficiency is often avoided due to expense and the fear of interrupting campus operations. Students and faculty must access academic resources anytime from anywhere 24/7/365. Online classes, remote access, and working from home are standard methods of providing synchronous and asynchronous instruction.

How

Campus Consortium and EdTech company Prelude Solutions partnered to offer a no cost Telecommunications Assessment and Report to provide educational institutions with savings, economy of scale, security and enhancements from existing investments. Prelude will negotiate savings on the institution’s behalf and share a portion of savings, all other advising and strategic services are provided at no cost.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Accredited Higher Education institutions and K-12 schools and school districts are eligible to apply.
