Campus Web Portal: In-Kind Grant
A web portal is a specially designed, customizable website that brings diverse sources of information into one place like email, reports, academic content, grades and billing. A portal also centralizes access to almost all resources on campus so students, faculty and staff have one place to go instead of remembering multiple login credentials or application locations. This Consortium subsidy is designed to help institutions access an affordable, robust, low maintenance, feature rich enterprise web portal.
Online student interaction and engagement is increasing due to new generations of students who interact exclusively online for communication, entertainment, studies, banking, transportation, and more. The recent pandemic and social expectations further emphasize the need for a robust online presence that represents the institutional mission and prioritizes usability, efficiency and customer service.
Campus Consortium and EdTech company Unifyed partnered to offer a Campus Web Portal In-Kind Grant. The solution offers implementation of a customizable user-friendly web portal with seamless integration to a SIS, LMS and other campus systems so students get quick access to important resources. Student life will be improved with targeted messaging and nudging, push notifications, grades, assignments, calendars, news, maps, events, chat features, campus safety, and one-click access to multiple applications, resources and information.
