(Digital Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
Diversity is the presence of differences that may include race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, socioeconomic status, language, (dis)ability, age, religious commitment, or political perspective. Many educational institutions create policy, training, and support for Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The increasing dependency on technology to deliver teaching, learning, services, and administration mean Digital DEI (DDEI) practices must be applied to an institution’s virtual environments including online learning; collaboration and productivity spaces; meeting interaction, and communication applications. All software including Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, has the potential for bias. $12,500 Fee includes a comprehensive evaluation of the user experience of user interface and functionality of essential technology systems, applications, online workflows, business processes, services, and communication used by students, faculty, and staff.
The comprehensive assessment is guided by the National Diversity Council (NDC) and conducted by experienced and credentialed DEI professionals who identify gaps and priorities; create a short- and long-term remediation plan; advise IT, DEI, and compliance departments; produce a final report, certification document, badging and follow up.
